Description

Well this isn't part of Legendaria or any other project, but I got really inspired to draw something whilst listening to Sidewinder by Avenged Sevenfold, at first I felt like just drawing the snake but I also saw that most people want to see original characters from me, so I made one up.
I'm quite happy with how it turned out, I probably could have improved some aspects but the fact is I don't feel like going detail crazy on the last day of summer.

Enjoy it, back to college tomorrow.

Well, well, well! This surely is an intriguing character design! First of all, I like how this character was inspired by an alternative rock song (i.e. Sidewalker by Avenged Sevenfold).

I also like how you use this character design and its elements as a visual interpretation for the lyrics. For example, the snake is a blunt reference to the "poison sting" and "venomous bite" mentioned in the chorus.

I am pretty fond of this character's gothic, old-fashioned attire (e.g. frilled shirt, thief's mask, leather boots, etc.) because I believe that it reflects his cold-blooded personality as described in the lyrics. To me, he looks like a combination of Simon Belmont (Castlevania) and Koushaku "Papillon" Chouno (Buso Renkin) who wear similar clothing.

This entire illustration was drawn and coloured in excellent detail and with great precision. His physique, clothes and weaponry all look fairly realistic!

If there is only one flaw with this illustration, it's his right lower-leg - it looks fairly bent out of place.

Overall, this is a truly interesting character design with a unique attire! He would make a great villain in any franchise. Excellent job!
